WHAT THE...?

Last night Josh and I were reminded how we should probably be more careful about what we say around Baylee. Baylee was filling up a water bottle with water from the refridgerator door. The bottle got stuck and water filled up the bottle and started running down the fridge onto the floor. By the time I got to it, there was a lot of water to clean up. I asked for Josh to help move the fridge out so we could clean up the water. Baylee came over and stood by me and said "What the crap?". We laughed, but told her that probably wasn't a good thing to say. She said ok and went on her way. A couple of minutes later she came back over and looked behind the fridge (it was a mess because we haven't cleaned behind it in a very long time). She had a disgusted look on her face and said "what the hell is that mess!" Ok, so now Josh and I are trying not to laugh, but she was so serious. So once again, we explained to her that she shouldn't say that phrase. Then Josh made the mistake of asking her where she learned that. She said "from you." That made me laugh even more until this morning at work when I got frustrated with my computer and the first words out of my mouth were "what the hell!" Opps. I have a feeling I'm more to blame for that one than Josh is!!

There was a Bunny in our House!

Easter was a lot of fun this year. The girls loved their baskets and eggs from the Easter Bunny. We also had a house full of company this year too.

Doug, Jody and the boys were here along with Dustin and Lindsey and their 2 little boys. Baylee and Jaten had so much fun! She was exhausted Sunday night. Everybody was here for the blessing of little Kambree. It was a great day!

After the blessing luncheon, we went to Josh's parents house for another dinner. Josh's grandparents were here from Utah. It was nice to see them and spend so time with Josh's family. Grammy did an Easter Egg hunt for all the kids, so we have more candy at our house than we know what to do with! But the girls love it.

Paintin' Eggs

Baylee has been waiting to do this for a year! She loves to paint eggs. This years theme was Tinker Bell eggs, however the Tinker Bell stickers were actually rub-ons that didn't want to rub on the eggs very well so we switched to flower stickers. Much easier.

Since I'm sure that Tenlee would have just tried to drink the egg dye, I gave her her own plastic egg to play with to make her happy. Maybe next year she will be ready for dye.

Ivie's Birthday Present? Hmm...I wonder.

So Josh and I had discussed getting a 4-wheeler, but little did I know that when I got home on my birthday this would be sitting in the garage. The first thing Josh said to me was "happy birthday dear!" Yeah, for some reason I don't really think this was for me. But it's still fun. The girls love it. Josh took it out for its first official ride on Saturday. It got very muddy so of course he washed it as soon as he got home, yet my car sits in the garage still dirty!

Giving This a Try!

So everybody I know has been asking me if I have a blog and if not, I should start one. So here it goes! This is definitely going to be a trial to see if I keep up with it or not. But now that I have a functional computer at home to work on, I might be more likely to use it.

Baylee is 4 going on 16. She's sassy at times, but is also the sweetest little girl too. Her favorite things right now: High School Musical, Hannah Montana, Barbie Princess movies, working on pre-schools stuff and trying her hand at hair styling! A couple of weeks ago Baylee decided her hair wasn't quite right so she fixed it herself by cutting a chunk of hair front and center down to her scalp. Very cute! So Baylee now has bangs (sort of). Baylee also decided that her Dora doll's hair wasn't good either. I didn't know this until the other day while I was cleaning her room. I found some hair on the floor that didn't look like hers. Then I saw Dora. Dora no longer has bangs!

Tenlee turns 16 months tomorrow. She is a little spit fire! And talk about mood swings! One second she is yelling at you for something and the next second she is smiling and saying "hi". We've been calling her 10 second Tenlee because that's all it takes for her to go from sweet to mean! She has been much slower at talking than Baylee was at this age. But there are a few words. One word she says well is "Baywee". But only when she is yelling at her sister.

That's it for this edition. Tune in next time. Maybe there will actually be some pictures!
